That Lost Wolf

George's voice trembles, "She is my mate." Saliva clings to his tongue as he repeats it, tears welling up. "I have to find her."
Alpha Festus warns, "Consequences await. Wolf power lost, rogues attacking, parents' demise."
George nods, resolve in his eyes.
Staring at the sky, handcuffs clank, George vows, "Moon goddess, my mate. I will find her." Tears stream down until his sobbing intensifies.
Suddenly, George's wolf breaks free, chains falling. Defying Alpha Festus, he soars over the pack house fence, wolf adrenaline pulsing. Warriors scramble to pursue, but Alpha Festus slyly redirects rogues after him.
Five hundred warriors, masked and relentless, chase George into the forest. Will he reunite with his lost mate, or will blood prove thicker than water?
