They both finished their meals; Emily got up and helped Daniel clean the dishes; Daniel offered to assist her, saying, "let me help." He was acting so nicely, and she couldn't get her mind off what she had seen when she entered his room and found him completely naked.

"No, thank you," she said, shook her head without looking him in the eyes. "I'm confident that I can do it."

"All right, if you want to," he said as he leaned over to the island and smiled. "If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you some questions about your life."

"What would you like to know about me?" she asked as she stopped washing the dishes and looked at him.

"It's not that I'm trying to meddle in your personal life, but I'm interested in learning more about you," he said with a smile. "I believe you mentioned that you studied business in college."

"I did have a good grade in business administration, and I actually studied physiology as well," Emily admitted. "It simply aided me in my dealings with children."

"Wow!" he exclaimed, dropping his jaw in awe. "But you said you got A’s grade in all your years, so why didn’t you search for a proper job in one of the companies? I mean, you have incredible talent."

"I understand what you're saying; I've done something similar in the past, and I regret it. My boss attempted to drag me into his bed, despite the fact that he was a married man. So it came as a bit of a surprise to me. I made the decision to resign from my position and never work for another company again." She laughed and said sacrisaticlly.

As he assumed, "but wouldn't that never happen with you on the job as a nanny?"

She almost laughed loudly at what he said.

"Please accept my apologies; I didn't mean to laugh so loudly." she apologised.

"Please accept my apologies; I didn't mean to laugh so loudly." she apologised. she sighed and conffessed, "Actually, this happened to me while I was working for my previous employer, which is why I looked for a new job and is why I'm here now."

""I see what you mean," he said, nodding. " So, how is your family doing these days? What about your parents? What about your boyfriend? Because you requested to be here all of the time, I wanted to inquire about this. Especially because you appear to be so attractive despite being single." He was so intrigued by her that he couldn't keep himself from interrogating her about her entire life from the moment she began working in his mansion on the first day.

He never imagined that he would be attracted to another woman after the death of his wife. However, it did occur. No one knows when the heart might start throbbing again.

She let out a long sigh before stating, "Actually, my parents are dentists. They are the owners of a dental clinic in the neighbourhood. I come from a middle-class family with an average upbringing. They aren't particularly wealthy, but they are well-liked. And I'm single because I recently ended my relationship with my boyfriend, who also happened to cheat on me with my best friend at the same time. As a result, I had to vacate his home, for which I used to pay half the rent, but I had no choice. It wasn't an easy process for me. My best friend and him having a sexual relationship behind my back, on the other hand, broke my heart completely. I'll never forget the scene when I walked into my apartment and saw them both lying naked on the sofa, preparing to commit the crime! As a result, I made the decision to abandon everything and start over. And here I am," .

Daniel was a little taken aback by how strong she appeared despite the fact that they had betrayed her, "And this was a long time ago?" he wondered. "Because you appear to be very strong."

"Actually, it was yesterday before I showed up to meet you in your office," she said with a shrug.

"Wow, you've got me impressed! Seriously. If I were in his position, I would never cheat on you because you are so unique! He is a jerk because I would never cheat on you if I were in his position!" Daniel eventually managed to slip his words out. He couldn't possibly lie.

"Thank you," she said, her eyes wide with surprise and her cheeks flushed like a red tomato. " I suppose I was unlucky in some ways. Is it possible that being beautiful is a curse?"

"Could you please come here and join me," he said as he stood up and walked into the living room.

"Mmm, I think I should go upstairs and see how Lisa is doing," she said after a pause.

"All right, whatever you want," he said.

He decided to follow her up the stairs once she started walking. For a moment, he considered sneaking away without making a sound to see how much she cared about his little toddler Lisa.

Then she gently cradled Lisa between her arms and kissed her on the forehead, almost chirping, "Hello, baby girl. I love you." "I'm Emily, and I'm your new nanny."

Lisa yawned and almost made hi with her tiny hands.

"You're like an angel," Emily said with a light giggle. " I had already fallen in love with you. I hope you grow up and come to love me as much as I love you."

Lisa appeared to be still asleep, so Emily tucked her back into her bed. Daniel made the decision to walk into the room at the same time. Emily was taken aback by this. "Oh my gosh," Daniel exclaimed as he raised his hands in apology, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I had just arrived to see how Lisa was doing. Please accept my apologies."

"It's all right," Emily said, a weak smile on her face. " I am aware of your concern for her. After all, she's your daughter," .

In the crib, Daniel leaned in close to his daughter and gently kissed her tiny hands. He then turned to face Emily and told her: "She's my life, she's my everything."

She saw a lot of fathers when she looked at him, but she had never seen a sweet man like him who genuinely cared about his daughter the way he did.

Her gaze was almost adoring, as if she were admiring him.

"You're right! You're a very good father. The only thing I wish for in this life is that my father treats me the same way you treat your daughter, even for a brief period of time." as if she decided to tell him more than he wanted to know. She couldn't believe that she was telling her boss about some of the secrets from her personal life that she had been keeping hidden for so many years.

Daniel turned slowly and closed the gap between them, then he asked her, “he didn’t treat his only daughter in a good way? What kind of father would do such a thing?"

"When she thought about it, she was on the verge of crying. "I guess it wasn't just him who ignored me, but my mother as well for almost my entire life," she said. " Both of them were concerned about their professional careers and financial security. It was for this reason that I made the decision to live my life independently, earn my own money, and never rely on them."

Once she had finished her speech, Daniel pulled her closer to him and planted a soft kiss on her lips. He couldn't keep the attraction at bay any longer. Even so, he was perplexed as to why he had done it. Was it out of sympathy? Or is it a case of lust? Or does she strike him as a resemblance to his late wife?

In an instant, he backed away and apologised to her, saying, "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry."

She trembled, but she was struck by the words, "it's okay," from the kiss.

He hurriedly exited the room, not even bothering to look back. Emily, on the other hand, closed the door behind him and continued to think about what had just happened.
