C77 He Kidnapped the Super Cute Little Bunny

"Take them all. If they survive until we leave, we'll sell them to the Beast Tamer Association. If not, they'll become our food reserves."

Wang Yan produced a chest and carefully placed all the white ape cubs inside.

In this world, the strong excelled in manipulating space, creating a plethora of spatial artifacts and life-saving techniques that were as varied as they were strange.

The chest Wang Yan held was known as a hibernation box, designed to induce a deep slumber in ferocious beasts, staving off fatal injuries.

A living ferocious beast was, after all, much more valuable than a dead one.

Using it on these cubs could extend their lifespans.

If they lasted two months, great; if not, no big deal.

"Boss, guess what I stumbled upon?"

Goldie had just finished stowing away the white ape cubs and strutted over with a swagger.

Wang Yan's eyebrow quirked up as he inquired, "What could possibly be here? Ape droppings?"

Rice Bucket: "Woof?"

"Scram!"

With a flick, Goldie sent a blade of sword energy into the dog's mouth, causing Rice Bucket such pain that tears nearly fell.

Since mastering the Golden Essence Sword Qi, Rice Bucket had become a frequent target of harassment.

Luckily, Goldie was always careful—painful, but never harmful.

"I found Vajra Bodhi seeds, and there's a decent amount!"

Goldie extended a paw, dropping a seed the size of a grape into Wang Yan's palm.

It was shriveled and lackluster, far from plump.

"This thing..."

Wang Yan examined it closely. The data confirmed it was Vajra Bodhi, but it looked nothing like the images he'd seen.

They were all shriveled, as if underdeveloped.

He gathered the remaining Vajra Bodhi seeds—65 in total, each one as desiccated as the last.

"Could this be what caused the fight between the white apes and the giant panda?"

Wang Yan mused to himself. He had no idea how many white apes remained and had no intention of finding out.

Aside from the white ape cubs and the Vajra Bodhi seeds, the nest was empty.

Although it was odd that the group of white apes didn't have a nanny to look after the young, the potential rewards were tangible and too good to pass up.

"The white apes and the Iron Eating Beasts are clashing. We might be able to skirt around them," Goldie suggested, swallowing the Vajra Bodhi it had in its mouth.

No one would ever complain about an abundance of treasures. If they didn't take the chance to raid the homes while the two ferocious beast factions were at each other's throats, they might never stumble upon such an opportunity again.

"Let's go!"

After a brief moment of contemplation, Wang Yan decided.

Stealing a few of those round balls to raise for fun had been a dream of his in a past life.

Now, with the chance laid out before him, it would be a disservice to his own conscience not to grab it.

Avoiding the battleground of the Iron Eating Beasts and white apes, he sprinted at breakneck speed, arriving at a vast bamboo forest in about half an hour.

This was no ordinary bamboo; it was Iron-Heart Bamboo, white and as tough as its namesake.

A bunch of chubby, endearing balls frolicked amongst the bamboo.

Two nearly three-meter-tall adult Iron Eating Beasts played the role of nannies, safeguarding the little ones from other predators.

In the ranks of ferocious beasts, those serving as nannies weren't necessarily the strongest, but they were certainly far from weak.

A headlong rush would surely provoke a frenzied assault.

Therefore, Wang Yan had Stick take action, stealthily drawing a young Iron Eating Beast their way.

Stick was just the size of a fist, inconspicuous and quick. Even if discovered, it could easily make a getaway.

After being promised a heap of treats, Stick bravely took on the task.

"Ying?"

Behind a pair of Iron-Heart Bamboos, a plump ball pondered its existence.

It didn't know why it was here or what its future held.

All it knew was that the taste of bamboo shoots was delightful.

"Crunch, crunch!"

The bamboo, tougher than metal, crunched like cookies in its mouth. The Ball patted its belly, suddenly feeling a profound sense of contentment with bear life.

"Ying?"

A peculiar object caught its gaze. The Ball lifted its paws, intent on swatting it down.

But to its surprise, the creature was swift, deftly evading the attack and even spitting at it.

"Ying! Ying! Ying!"

Infuriated, the Ball sprang to its feet and clumsily gave chase.

The commotion caught the attention of two nannies, yet they refrained from intervening.

These little ones were always up to mischief, fond of scampering about.

But within the several dozen-mile expanse of the Iron Eating Beast Clan's domain, no ferocious beast would dare come near. So, let them roam; they'd return at dusk.

"Ying! Ying! Ying!"

The Ball continued its angry pursuit, unsteady on its feet.

Time slipped by, and it found itself increasingly distant from the bamboo forest, leaving behind nothing but a fading white blur.

"Ying?"

Realizing something was amiss, the Ball halted, its large, glossy eyes scanning the surroundings as panic set in.

It didn't recognize this place and couldn't spot any of its clan's elders.

It longed to return home, to soak up the sun and gnaw on bamboo.

The Ball's decision was sound, but regrettably, it was too late.

"Hehehe... Little Tuan... hehehe..."

A creepy, lunatic laughter filled the air as Wang Yan emerged from the shadows, scooping the Ball into his embrace.

Chubby and plush, it was an incredibly satisfying cuddle.

Terrified, the Ball shivered uncontrollably, while Wang Yan was so enamored he couldn't bear to let go.

After a good deal of fondling, and only when the Ball's eyes rolled back, did he finally cease.

"It's just too adorable!"

Wang Yan settled the Ball onto his lap, his heart brimming with affection.

Forget about petting cats; the real challenge was in pampering pandas!

Turning to the system store, Wang Yan decided to redeem some capsaicin.

He'd been practicing his Spicy Palm technique for so long, it had become second nature.

The martial art seemed ever more expansive and intricate, yet he'd hit a plateau. To advance further, he needed something with an even fiercer burn.

"Hmm, new items in stock?"

The System Store had just refreshed with two new items, both of which were currently usable.

Concentrated Capsaicin: A highly purified capsaicin extract, increasing spiciness by 50 times. Redeeming this required 200 points.

Ironheart Bamboo King Shoot: The tenderest tip of the Ironheart Bamboo King, rich in metal and wood elements, capable of significantly raising the growth ceiling for certain species. Redeeming this required 1,000 points.

"Talk about getting exactly what you need! System, I love you, smooches!"

Wang Yan lavished praise on the magnificent system and immediately redeemed an Ironheart Bamboo King Shoot.

With 1,000 points deducted, a massive pile of bamboo shoots materialized from nowhere.

Each shoot was about 30 centimeters long, with the thickest part nearly 10 centimeters in diameter, and the total weight was no less than a ton.

He had assumed a portion of bamboo shoots would weigh just a few kilos, never expecting such abundance.

"Whimper, whimper?"

Ball, nearly dazed from Wang Yan's affectionate rubs, shuddered, his tiny nose twitching wildly.

He caught the scent of something scrumptious, far more appetizing than any Ironheart Bamboo shoot he had savored before.
