Crystal stemware chimed as a server relieved Haru and Tally of their empty drinks and gave them new glasses. The noise level was at a steady hum, but anticipation filled the dining hall. It was the good kind of energy, or Haru hoped it was, since the renewed Evade and Hunt games started tomorrow.

“This was a good idea,” Tally said, leaning close
