In the aftermath of being accused of whistleblowing, Olivia Benjamin was shamefully sacked and couldn't find another job. With a job opportunity to provide for herself and an outlet to escape her past, she takes the job as nanny for Eunice Mason. She meets the cold, ambiguous and icy Vice Chairman of her company, Christian Mason, Eunice's uncle.
Christian is forced to be a father after the tragic death of his brother and sister-in-law, leaving him responsible for his four-year-old niece, Eunice. Struggling to connect with the child and take over work, Christian realizes he needs a nanny.
Olivia has the type of character Christian hates in a nanny, too kind and loving. However, Eunice finds solace in her. As Olivia and Christian clash over how to take care of Eunice, a common interest draws them together, the need to protect Eunice.
Christian realizes he needs a marriage after he is forced to devote his time and attention to Eunice by the state or hire someone to care for her, and by the company's requirement for him to be available as Acting Chairman at all times. He convinces Olivia to accept a contract marriage.
A kidnapping attempt is carried out on Eunice, with the aim of forcing Christian to cave. This exposed her to the dangerous world he always tries to shield her from. Christian’s protective instincts flared up with so much ferocity. Olivia, with her unwavering bravery, stood by his side ensuring the total protection of Eunice.
As they navigate through the crisis, their bond and feelings get deeper. Christian finds himself relying on Olivia, and healso starts to show tenderness and vulnerability. Soon enough, Christian and Olivia’s past clash and secrets begin touncover, testing their relationship to its limits.
Will their love for Eunice and each other be able to fight the circumstances that face them? Or would the weight of their problems draw them apart?
