Genesis is the runaway daughter of a mafia who has made a descent living for herself in the United States. She got sucked into a drama filled life when she was assigned to care for Dante's son which led to them coming together in a contract marriage because she was the only one he had seen that his son opened up to since his first wife died.
Also, the life she thought she had run away from comes back to haunt her when her older brother finds her in the United States and threatens to take her back home with him by any means possible.
Eventually, they start feeling things they did not bargain for. And together, they fight against all odds and come out triumphant, proving that their love could survive any test from life.
