Becky was just getting over a devastating heartbreak when she met Colin, the billionaire scion of the biggest cargo company in the United States of America. 
Colin fell in love with her at first sight, but she was reluctant to open her heart up to him.
When she eventually did, she found out that she had to contend with Debbie, Colin's childhood friend, who was bent on having him at all costs. Even after Colin had made it clear to her severally that he wasn't attracted to her. 
Also, Colin's mother wanted her son to marry Debbie, so she didn't accept Becky. She watched with disdain as Colin and Becky's love became stronger and stronger, knowing she couldn't do anything about it. 
That was until Colin was in a car accident on his way home from the office one night. He fell into a coma and couldn't remember many people after he woke up.
