My Pretend Boyfriend

Daniel Stefani is the most desirable guy in North Ridge High School and boy does he know it! 
   Movie star looks paired with a quarterback’s body, he’s every girl’s dream guy – but not mine. To me, he’s just a CCP (Cute, Cool and Popular) in a body straight out of an Abercrombie and Fitch catalog. 
   My name is Madison Anne Lodge and I’m well-known as the "Beauty Queen" of North Ridge High School with a glamorous life and tons of money, clothes and make-up. 
   Being a local southern belle, I’ve always had an arch-enemy ever since kindergarten and she goes by the name Madison VanDerk. (Yeah, we have the same name).  
   Calling Madison Louise VanDerk a malicious and vicious girl is an understatement. She’s literally a python in pink, sparkly eye shadow, glittery lipstick, designer jeans and flip-flops with fake pink diamonds. 
   I’m just a brown-eyed auburn blonde with two astonishingly amazing sisters, Abigail and Cameron, and an annoying twin brother, Mason, who keeps on chasing off every guy who seemed interested in me. Telling Mason to mind his own business hadn’t worked out for me. What I needed was a guy who wouldn’t let my brother to daunt him, a guy who was strong and confident enough to stand up to Mason. 
  My crush, Nick Spears, was never that kind of guy, but Daniel Stefani was.
