I dislike the emotion loss thing because it’s so unclear and has hardly been noticeable at all except for one or two times, making me more confused about what the author means exactly.

I know that she has insane pressure and that our MC certainly isn’t perfect (in a good way, as no one is perfect) but it’s getting more than a little frustrating with how harsh Shanshan is despite the fact that Guo has both saved her and nearly died because of her TWICE.

Wow. That was pretty messed up... earlier in the chapter she pretty much forgave him and then suddenly she’s feeling angry enough again to just ditch him in the wilderness? (And let him get beat up?) Kinda strange imo.
I’m also a little confused, the system now forces him to be emotionless if he gets heated, yet he was still able to feel annoyed enough to attack the cousin in this chapter, then suddenly went into robot mode. It felt a bit clunky and I don’t exactly understand how it works.

Man, I really like the plot of the novel so far, it’s genuinely one of the best in a Chinese novel I’ve read (and I’ve read a lot), but I always dislike the whole large personality changes due to outside influences, and especially the loss of emotions, as often times authors seem to forget to add them back (or at least forget to mention that they slowly recover) making it a moot point, and it feels even worse if it feels like the MC basically became a completely different person without any control. I hope this author can break the usual trend, as he already has a few times in this novel so far.
Fantastic work, and good job to the translator as well! Only a couple gender mistakes but overall one of the best TLs I’ve seen. <3
