Scarlet Bloodmoon is a she-wolf turning . The biggest and most important birthday of all. She would be able to find her mate. She has a massive crush on the alpha of lunar packs son whos birthday is the same day as hers. When their birthdays come around she finds out he is her mate. A dream come true until its not. 
She finds her mate tied to another one close to her. She ends up running away from her problems to her best friend where she discovers a different mate. When she fell terribly ill it was revealed that she had chosen a different mate to the one that was chosen for her by the moon goddess herself .
