Fate is not what Skylar Macintosh had believed in. Her parents—being good, could not have been subjected to such gruesome fate, if fate really existed.
Purposed to unveil the murderer and avenge the death of her parents, Skylar was again outsmarted by fate, as her lover turns out to be linked to the death of her parents. 
Will Skylar be able to damn fate and continue with her mission, or be swept by the power of love? 
Will she accept this as her own fate?
