Her perfect baking passion ended when she crashed into Mrs. Dakota, an old lady who seem likely to be of the same age with her grandmother.
Emma was able to convince Mrs. Dakota and her obnoxious grandson, Aries Emerson which made Mrs. Dakota to strike a contract with Emma's family bakery.
She was assigned to deliver snacks daily to her son's company (Mr. Ashford Emerson Dakota) and also work as a part-time cook for her grandson but was  also given a strict warning, never to look at her son for any kind of favor.
