ONE LAST RIDE

In this Teen-romance novel "ONE LAST RIDE" , the protagonist Marisa Anderson, an average teen full of life, jovial and extremly  beautiful, is a HighSchool Senior in Bayside high,  just recently moved into California alongside her family.
 She has this difficulty,lack of luck, challenges, obstacles or whatever name you have to call it, in finding a perfect match or a prince charming (like she would say). So regarding this flaws, she took a stance on "No dating" rule (which she prescribed for herself).
 But how possible would that be when you're relocating to a new environment and as well attending a new school, with a whole lotta new friends?
In every HighSchool they must be a hottie that every girl would fall head over heels for, as well as a queen bee, who always sees themselves as supreme and the queen of the school that everyone should show respiect to.           They either would be dating the school hottie or must have dated him before.
  Well the case is different in this scenario, she has a huge, over the moon crush on him, but  worst part of it is that the guy in question doesn't give her any attention, even for a second, actually he doesn't like  anyone, cause he had his heart locked up because of a very bad situation which he encounterd some years back and it's difficult for him to forget, but what then happens when he gets a blast from the past... 
 This obviously would cause alot of drama. 
    But at some point, as we all know, the protagonist must definitely have a thing or two for the schools hearthrobe,  so her decision on "No dating" came to a crash, cause she fell madly in love with  him.
   But no queen bee would sit around and let just anyone take her man away, so obviously she had lots of plot against them, which accidentally worked... But to an extent though
At the the end of every existing drama/war, there must always be a way or the  other to come to a resolution, which they  later did find, but not everyone did...
