It is not hypocritical, it is self aware. As for claiming lucky, that is truly hypocritical. Acting like the result of being opportunistic, is the reward of your past efforts. Nobody can fault you but do you feel all right to be irresponsible.

colonial eras. Once the gap of privilege is too big and the social or economic or political stage is too wide, such a situation becomes "status quo".

People would say it is admiration but it is actually just greed. Wanting to have it, wanting to keep it, like a slave or property you need to please because it never belonged to you while at the same time attempting to use sentiment and debt to imprison or coerce it, to align with your desire. Only property is appreciated, people however are respected. Respect has nothing to do with appearance or achievements, it just has to do with existing.

Too hypocritical. You want to ask for favour but you don't ask til the end?. No cordiality, just false courtesy. For a person who claims the world is hypocritical?.

When you are polite to a person, you don't ignore a person but also don't insist on being friendly. Just do what you need to do and finish, without any judgements or requirements, otherwise it is just too childish, immature or false.
